Application Process

1. Gather Your Documents

Before beginning your Malaysia eVisa or eNTRI application, prepare clear digital copies of:

• Valid Passport (minimum 6 months validity with at least 1 blank page)

• Recent Passport-sized Photograph (digital, color, plain background)

• Confirmed Return or Onward Ticket

• Proof of Accommodation (hotel booking or invitation letter if staying with family/friends)

• Birth Certificate (for minors traveling with parents)

• Valid Credit/Debit Card for online fee payment

2. Online Application Submission

Apply via the official Malaysian government eVisa portal. Complete the application form with your personal, passport, and travel details.

3. Payment of Fees

Pay the required visa fee online. A receipt will be issued once payment is successful.

4. Application Review

The Immigration Department of Malaysia will review your application. Processing typically takes 2–3 business days for eVisa; eNTRI is often faster.

5. Receive Your eVisa / eNTRI Note

Once approved, you will receive your eVisa or eNTRI note by email. Print a copy to bring with you.

6. Present at Immigration in Malaysia

Upon arrival, present your passport, printed eVisa/eNTRI, return ticket, and proof of accommodation for entry stamping.

Eligibility & Requirements

• Be a citizen of an eligible country (eligibility varies between eVisa and eNTRI).

• Hold a valid passport with at least 6 months remaining.

• Travel for tourism, business, or visiting family/friends (not for work or study).
